Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineering Specialist develops machinery and equipment in collaboration with the New Programs, VPD, Engineering and Production departments. Manage equipment from concept through implementation including quoting, approvals, development, testing, installation, implementation and continuing support.

Job Qualifications
Education
- Successful completion of a minimum three-year engineering advanced diploma from a college (mechanical engineering considered relevant)
Experience
- Experience with CATIA V5, Unigraphics, solid works
- Experience with PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Six sigma.
- MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint)
- Some injection molding knowledge and experience is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of plastics & other automotive interior/exterior materials.
- 2-5 years’ experience with engineering product development
Other
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Be willing to travel to other Vuteq locations (USA, Mexico, Japan etc.)

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
